hi, i’m sammie, and i have dreams of opening a small photography studio made specifically for dogs & cats.

a space that feels safe, calm, fun, and completely pet-centered. no pressure for perfect behavior, and no expectation that every animal will sit still or look at the camera on command.

before this dream started taking shape, i spent over two years working at a dog daycare where i photographed countless dogs in our own little makeshift “studio” setups.

it’s funny looking back now, because those photo days happened wherever we could make space for them that day. nothing fancy, just a backdrop, a theme, a camera, and a whole lot of patience.

those sessions are a big part of what made me realize how much i love photographing animals and how much i want to create a space dedicated entirely to them.
