hi, i'm sammie.
a little more about me...
i’ve never really believed creativity needs to stay in one lane. photography, content, branding, storytelling, marketing, to me, it all comes back to the same thing, paying attention to what makes something feel real, interesting & worth remembering.
with photography, i’m drawn to the moments nobody planned. the genuine laughs, the way someone looks at their dog, the split second where everything feels honest. i don’t care much for stiff, overly posed photos. i’ll guide when needed, but most of the time i’m watching for the moments that happen naturally. the goal is always the same and that's to get photos that actually feel like you.
that same mindset carries into my creative & marketing work. i like helping people, brands & businesses figure out how to show up in a way that feels intentional without losing their personality. whether i’m creating content, building out a campaign, designing graphics or helping shape an idea, i’m always looking for the thing that makes it feel human instead of generic.
i’m much more interested in connection than perfection. the best photos, brands & ideas usually aren’t the ones trying the hardest to look polished. they’re the ones that feel clear, honest & unmistakably themselves.
outside of all of that, i’m a full-time dog mom to four chaotic but perfect dogs, which probably explains why animals end up in front of my camera pretty often and why i’m very comfortable working with a little unpredictability.
at the end of the day, my work is really about helping people capture, create & communicate something that feels like them.
